Scrappin Fiesta

I just went to a weekend retreat that I always go to at least twice a year.  This year they added one extra for the summer month of June.  I had a blast with family and friends.  The theme this year was Scrappin Fiesta.  This is a photo of me and my best friend Sandy Hubbard.  We always have a wonderful time any time we get together.  I have more photos to post later.

Kaisercraft layout of my cat

This is a layout I did about a month or so ago of my cat Simon.  He loves to chew on pictures and the paper backing from my ATG gun.  He will literally hear my gun getting at the end and he is at my side waiting for me to throw it in the floor so he can chew it up.  If I throw it in my trash can in my scrap room he will get it out.

Here is another layout I did of my grandchildren.  Samara had a brown shirt on and Aiden had an orange shirt on and that is where the colors from this layout came from.  I just used some old papers I had in my stash.  I think it turned out wonderful.

I'm Back!

It's been 3 short years since I have blogged.  Wow!  I can't hardly believe it.  I have been going back and forth with whether to get back on my blog or just leave it.  Lately, I have been wanting to try out for some design teams and I thought there was no use since I haven't updated my blog, but I am back!!  I am excited to be back.  I hope to continue blogging and getting my blog address out in the scrapbook world.

Moved to South Carolina

Well, I have been very bus with the move to South Carolina. We have een building a new house since January 2009. The big moving date was August 2nd. I got the house all set up and my scrapbook room which was number one on my agenda. Since I got it set up I have been making at least one layout a day. I have really got my groove on.

This layout is of my son Matthew. He went and got his lip pierced, which I hated, so I had to take a picture of it. Needless to say he let it grow up, thank goodness.

Spring Fling 2010

It's April and time for Spring Fling! A weekend retreat for us art addicted women. It was held in Flatwoods, WV. My friend Sandy brought a girl named Crystal wih her for the weekend. I had never met her but, instantly became friends. It was like I had known her all my life. We just clicked. We had a blast!! I love doing these getaways!

Door prizes, Crystal and I won. I can't blieve I won a mini album kit. How appropriate!
